UDA Camp/Varsity Pom earns spot at Nationals In Orlando… Both Varsity and JV attended the annual UDA (Universal Dance
Association) held at Oakland University, in Rochester, MI on
June 20th through June 23rd.Our Middle School East Pom
Squad attended camp, as well. With over 35 girls representing
Grand Blanc, our squads not only learned and performed Jazz,
Pom, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, but wrapped up several highest level
awards this year.
Congratulations to our Varsity Squad for earning a
highest “Superior” ribbon for their Home Routine, placing 4th in
Varsity Division.Varsity Pom also earned a highest
"Superior" ribbon for their Team Routine and earned enough
points, awarding them a spot at the NDTC (National Dance
Team Championships) held at Walt Disney World, Orlando FL,
in Feb of 2011. Special Thanks to Alana Prine for her
choreography and music contributions to the Varsity
Home Routine.
Congratulations to Varsity Member Gabby Lossia for earning a top
award in the All-American UDA routine.Gabby’s performance
was awarded with top recognition and invited to Rome’s New
Year’s Day Tour.
Both JV and Middle School East took in many Superior Ribbons
throughout camp, andall three squads earned Spirit Stick
recognition Awards each night.
Varsity Pom earned most creative TEAM RAP.
Special Congratulations to our Senior Varsity Member Crystal
Coles for being spotted by a Michigan State Dance Team
Recruiter, inviting Crystal to try out for the 2011 / 2012Season.
Crystals flexibility, dance technique, and overall showmanship
made her a “stand out” at this year’s camp.
Varsity Captains: Taylor Brown, Crystal Coles and Samantha
Rabidoux along with JVCaptains: Victoria Witnauer and Emily
Higham were invited to perform in the 84thAnnual Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Congratulations to all GBHS Pom Squads! We recognize you for

Genesee Valley Pom Showcase … Come support our Pom Squads, as they perform in the 1st annual
Pom Showcase at the Genesee Valley Center (Mall) – 11:00 am,
Saturday, August 28th).
